How to Login
For a User to log into the MVS, first they will need to accept the Getac EULA. This is made available to all users the first time they log into Getac Enterprise. Once that has been accepted, the EULA will never be prompted for again.
Training Video
- Use the same credentials as Getac Enterprise to log into the MVS.
- If using the Getac Remote application, use the mouse and keyboard to navigate the User screen.
The MVS can be configured to keep the last user logged in indefinitely. This is ideal for take home vehicle situations. For vehicles that are shared, the system is generally configured to log the last User out upon shutdown. Be sure to check that the correct User is logged in BEFORE initiating a recording. Consult with an administrator for more details.
Systems logged in as Guest will operate as normal, HOWEVER, any Assets captured will not be associated with the correct User. If used in conjunction with a BWC, Assets will NOT be grouped together, which means that audio captured on a BWC will NOT be heard when reviewing the front camera in Getac Enterprise.
Not all Users are given access to guest recordings. Getac HIGHLY RECOMMENDS training Users to verify that the correct Useris logged into the system to avoid this situation. Administrators and other previously designated accounts have permission to assign the correct user to an Asset Group after the fact.
