    How to open the Front Door on the DVR

    Overview 

    The front door of the VR-X20 protects a USB port that can be used for gaining access to BlackBox Recordings, re-imaging Windows, or for installing other applications onto the Windows environment.

    Caution:
    The VR-X20 F1 DOES NOT have a front door and this process will not work on it.

    To open the DVR's front door: 

    1. Log into Getac Enterprise and click on the Live View tab  

    2. Establish a Live View Session with the Unit.

    3. From the Player window, click on the to send the open command


    4. The door will open.
