This article provides steps for troubleshooting time issues from the various Getac video products.
Symptoms
After capturing an Asset with an MVS or BWC, the time of capture is wrong.
Troubleshooting Steps
The InCar and MasterDock applications can synchronize time zones with Getac Enterprise. This is a new feature as of software version 3.106.
Caution:
Keep devices up-to-date to ensure correct functionality. See Release Notes for more information.
Follow the steps below to verify the proper time zone:
Log in to Getac Enterprise.
Click the Stations tab.
Caution:
If this option is not available, contact an Administrator or support@getacvideo.com for assistance.
Perform the following:
Choose a Station (1).
Then click on the wrench icon (2).
Navigate to the Other Settings section. Change the Time Zone Format to the desired setting.
Click Save at the bottom of the page to finalize
Note:
A success message in the upper-right corner should appear as shown above. If not, there may be a required field missing that needs to be corrected. Correct that field and try to save again.
Refers to any digital evidence files uploaded to Getac Enterprise e.g. video, audio, images, and documents.
Mobile Video Solution. Getac's in-car video system.
Body Worn Camera.
Getac video recording software that powers the Mobile Video, Edge, and Interview Room solutions.
Getac body worn camera software solution. A data mover application for uploading videos and pictures from a Getac multi-dock or Windows Computer to Getac Enterprise. Commonly used to describe a Getac multi-dock as a whole.
Getac's enterprise-grade Digital Evidence Management suite. Also known as, Enterprise Video Management or EVM.

Stations are used to organize Assets, Units, and users and typically reflect real-world structure or chain of command e.g. Police Department with multiple precincts.
